Carp fishing is a very specialized field.

Despite this or especially because of it, we want to make it easy for you to get started and so we only recommend two rigs. A soft rig and a stiff rig.

The soft rig has very good weed and silt properties, which can be improved for example with an extra PVA bag on the hook. And of course this improve the anti tangle properties, too.

A soft rig is the best choice for difficult ground. It will nestle flat against any obstacle and lays always very naturally.

Our soft rig is a DUAL USE hair rig. The rig is a little bit longer for using it over deep weed or silt with a wafter or a pop-up (boilie-) bait, too. You just have to put a soft split lead on the braid to stop the buoyancy of the bait. The pop-up bait have to be balanced out for perfect slow sinking on the top of the weed (or silt). And because the braid ist long and soft you have the perfect 360° properties on top.

This „simple“ rig is an extremely successful rig!

For our soft rig we use an elegant and extra strong Chinu hook that is absolutely suitable for the really big fish and of course all the components of this heavy rig have been designed for this.

This hook is the perfect mix of a classic wide gape carp hook and a typical pop-up bait hook with a medium long shank and a slightly outwardly curved eye. Perfect for ground baits AND pop-up baits. The Black Nickel coating is very durable and suitable for saltwater, but the small parts on this particular rig are not made of stainless steel.
